About Windstone Acupuncture

Windstone Acupuncture LLC is owned and operated by Stephanie Trzaska, DACM, L.Ac

Stephanie Trzaska
Stephanie grew up in New York, one of six children to hardworking parents. She was always drawn to Chinese Taoist philosophy and from an early age had a great love of herbology and also working with people.

After graduating high school, she pursued a bachelor’s degree in drama studies and worked various aspects of theater for a few years. This was not her true calling though and eventually she found her way to acupuncture school.

Stephanie was raised with values of being of service to others and found an appropriate outlet for this in becoming an acupuncturist.  Having seen many people’s pain and suffering be eased with simple treatments, Stephanie was inspired to set up a community style clinic to reach as many people as possible.

Stephanie’s mission and purpose is to bring relief to her patients’ suffering from chronic pain, peripheral neuropathy, insomnia, stress, and allergies.
She sees the body as having innate knowledge to heal itself and her goal is to help every single person she works with to reconnect with that inner healing wisdom. In this way, each patient can have less (or no) pain, and experience a life full of joy and purpose.

Stephanie loves to travel and had the great fortune to experience living in Asia for several years with her husband. When her daughter was born in Singapore, they decided to move to Colorado to be near family. Now she loves to travel around the region and explore the great West with her husband and daughter. She enjoys reading and you can always find her in the middle of a science fiction book or health books about nutrition and about the connection between gut health and allergies. In the warm months she works with her mother-in-law (who has a super green thumb) to cultivate medicinal herbs and flowers, which she crafts into remedies and flower essences.

Stephanie earned her Masters degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM), New York in 2005. While she was living in Asia, she took time to study at Yunnan Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital clinic in Kunming, China in 2011. In 2016 she furthered her degree and earned a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from PCOM, San Diego. Stephanie is a licensed acupuncturist in NY and CO and a Diplomate in Oriental medicine from the NCCAOM, which is a national board certification in the use of acupuncture and Chinese herbs.
